So pleased to announce TV Presenter Wendy Tuner Webster is to be our PATRON for Wetnose Animal Aid, we have known Wendy for years, Wendy also very kindly used to host our awards events in the past.

Wendy says “Whilst most people love the creatures of this world there are far too many who will abuse their trust and destroy their dignity. Numerous tiny charities pick up the pieces and can only keep going because of the help they receive from Wetnose”.

Wendy has always been an animal activist a vegan and now stars in the popular TV programme Crafty Beggars TV with friend Julie Peasgood.

Vicki Michelle MBE is best known as Yvette Carte-Blanche in Allo Allo, Patricia Foster in Emmerdale & I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here 2014, but Vicki who is a huge animal campaigner has known Wetnose for many years and is passionate about helping with animal welfare issues and education. Vicki always supports Wetnose Animal Day every year.

Karin Ridgers has supported Wetnose Day for the past 5 years. She has attended the awards, interviewed our celebrity supporters and promoted Wetnose Day to the media. Karin is the MC for VegfesUK the biggest vegan festivals in Europe and had her own show again on Phoenix FM every Friday from 6pm to 8pm and chats about animals, veganism, positive living and plays super 80s and 90s music.

She regularly is interviewed as to how and why cater for vegans and advises the Mail on Line, Center Parcs and has written for Leona Lewis’s blog and Ocado. She is passionate about VeggieVision TV her “internet TV station.”

Funds raised on Wetnose Day (and at anytime!) go to the unsung heroes – those who dedicate their lives to rescuing and caring for all sorts of animals every single day. Wetnose has known Helen Turner for a few years now and is delighted to say Helen is one of our charity trustees and helps to organise events for Wetnose.

From a young age Helen was bought up with dog groomers and dog trainers, so is used to having around her all day. Helen now owns Anypaw Pet Boutique – www.anypaw.com an online Pet Boutique and also Short Dog ‘n’ Sides Professional Grooming – www.anypaw.com. Helen now loves having all her own dogs with her at work every day.
