Wetnose Day 2021

Wetnose Day 2023

WETNOSE ANIMAL DAY WILL BE BACK WITH A BANG ON FRIDAY 29TH SEPTEMBER 2022 AND WE’VE ALREADY GOT LOTS OF SURPRISES IN THE WORKS. SO, WHETHER YOU PLAN TO RAISE MONEY AT HOME, SCHOOL OR WORK, ORDER YOUR FUNDRAISING PACK NOW AND GET READY FOR THE BIG DAY.

Why we need money

Wetnose Animal Aid has raised funds for 22 years and the last 2 years have been our hardest ever. On this Fundraising Day we will be raising funds that will be given to struggling Animal Rescue Centres to help pay off vets bills, buying equipment or animal feed, supplies, incubators, hedgehog units, all of which can cost hundreds of pounds. This is to help them in their day to day invaluable work.
These Rescue Centres are experiencing a marked downturn in donations, but a noticeable increase in animals being ‘dumped’ on them, as owners continue for various reasons not to be able to keep their animals. With the cost of living, petrol, increase in food prices and mortgage rate rises, Centres are full to busting with animals coming in; especially reptiles who need extra heat all year round.
Therefore this Wetnose Day is an important event to help raise serious levels of funds to help Centres who have had a really terrible 3 years to say the least. So why not hold your own FUNdraising event to help our cause. You can find some great ideas on the Fundraising ideas page along with event registration and sponsorship forms.

“I think this Wetnose Day event is a terrific idea and long overdue, you know what I think of animals and this would go a long way to helping many smaller centres who need more support, yes count me in!”

“In the last 20 years Wetnose Animal Aid has been able to help the smaller and lesser well known rescue centres and charities across the globe. They rely solely on donations to pay for vet bills, buy food and purchase equipment, if you can, for those animals who desperately need our support, please help them to carry on”

“As a family we have two adorable dogs, Buddy and Rudie, who are loved and cherished every single day. Sadly some animals are abandoned, unwanted or mistreated, finding their way to rescue centres. The thought of any pet suffering or being abandoned is unthinkable to me but this does sadly happen, and is on the rise. This is why I’m so keen to support Wetnose Day.

Bye for now,
Andrea ”
